What almost shocked me, though, was to see a region called Deutschland alongside regions like Bavaria and Saxonia. This makes absolutely no sense, at all! There is no kingdom called “Germany” in the middle ages. Why are you ignoring this? What’s the point? Is there a connection to the “Holy Roman Empire”? If yes, how does that affect gameplay? Does the Emperor have a role like the Pope does? But why not call that empire by its name? If no, what’s the point of all this? Thank you. The game is faithful to the first game, a bit too much in this case. Inaccuracies of KoH 1 were ok to me because the game is from 2004. But it is weird to see these things today.
