can i play with windows 7 pro. OS?

Hi i have a very fine computer running Windows 7 pro. can i run koh 2? i have waited all the years for this game. and it is not possible for me to get windows 10. further more i dont see whats in win 10 that should not be in win 7 when the game runs directX 11. hardware power not an issue for me. but i only use win 7 not and never will use win 10. 

regards a distressed fan who look at the count down not knowing if its playable.

please give a very good reason why it should not run in win 7 if so. thx

We didn't do extensive tests on Windows 7/8, that's the only reason it is not listed in the system requirements. It should run just fine, but we focused on Windows 10/11 testing, so there's a chance something got overlooked.

hi. i just installed the game via steam. and it crashes in the loading screen at: double checking kingdom plans. then it goes poof shutdown of game.

so i guess i can not play the game. so i ask, do you make it so it works on windows 7 or do i ahve to get my money back. i need to know before return period expires. please.

Sorry, I overlooked your comment. Please try this:

Right-click on the game and choose "properties". Add the line thqno_overlay_disabled to the "LAUNCH OPTIONS". Close the options window and try again, the game should now start.
