At the end od battle for town knights just dies...and town doesnt belong to me and can't attack it anymore (battle was one sided,victory 100%

Knights dies and I can't attack kingdom when I annihilate and conquer last town of that kingdom... even when I attack with my king he dies and dissapear. After some time kingdom comes back and I am in war with them
