  1. I was thinking it would make the game as well as diplomacy much better if there was an option that made it so you did not know who was cpu and who was human. You would have to conduct yourself with far more caution diplomatically and take more care not to anger what could be a potential human (dangerous) advisory. Is there anyway of having a option like this? Could it even work?
  2. Lets say there is a 4 player mp. Maybe there could be an option that would allow battles to occur if all players agreed to it. So player 1 and 2 have a battle while 3 and 4 might desire a break from the game to go eat, get a drink, do a quick choir. It would not happen often, but it might allow for some battles to be fought.
  3. In Med 2 TW heretics and witches would appear randomly in your provinces spreading their heresy. You could contest them with a priest or cardinal with the chance of condemning them where they would executed and you would "level up" as an enemy of heresy. There was always a chance they would convert your priest however. Will anything like this kind of religious spiritual warfare occur in KOH2? I always loved this part of med 2. It was a more active role in conversion than "build a church here" etc
  4. The more I learn about this game the more convinced i am that I need to save up at least a weeks vacation time for the release.
  5. So I just had an earlier question answered in that they will have papal elections. My question is this, will we see smoke coming from Rome on the campaign map when a new pope is elected?
  6. The speed of the armies, boats, and trade on the campaign map seems to be way to fast. You could be invaded from across the Mediterranean before you even noticed. Even the normal speed seems very fast. Maybe a half speed option could be added for us older guys?
  7. Sorry Question answered
  8. Perhaps i have misunderstood its purpose. Is it simply a way to declare a "winner"?
  9. It could resemble fighting over the pope for power in med 2, not so much a Vicory condition.
  10. I love what I have seen from this game and will purchase it; however, I dislike the "ruler of the world" idea mainly because it has no historical justification. It will simply remind the player he is playing a game rather than becoming immersed in it as a ruler of another period. Why not replace this with medieval 2 total wars elections of a pope? Seems pretty similar. It could add a layer of depth to the gameplay and be authentic. In the Islamic world, it could be replaced with the Grand Imam.
  11. I actually still play it from time to time. I wish it had campaign MP.
  12. More what did they not do wrong to lose my interest. They dumned it down to an arcade style game. It lost its depth, immersion, and strategy aspects.
  13. I am new so I cannot relate. But total war has lost my interest and this seems a great replacement.
  14. I agree, many battles in the feild were fought over strategic bridges or rivers.
  15. This is going to be a great game.
  16. Fair enough, but they are communicating, just not on a release date.
  17. So you just want a product no finished or not? you want to pay more for less? it is the company that is putting money and work into this that should be complaning not you. You lose nothing, they do. How can you compalin? do you feel entitiled to a game you have put nothing into to have it when you want?
  18. Hopefully not until it is done. A slower release means they want a better product. Many companies just care about raking in the money, these guys care about a good name and product it seems.
  19. This game is looking great. The more options the better IMO.
  20. I play a board game that was supposed to have an expansion come out Mutiple years ago. They said it was covid/distubution related so i just think there are issues and slow downs all over. Likely at multiple steps in the process.
