  1. First of all thank you for your efforts. After some "emotional struggle" at the beginning i have really started to love KOH II and think it´s definitely a worthy successor to KOH. Knowing that it will improve even more over time (which i hope) makes it even better 🙂 However i would really like to know if you intend or at least think about to implement (optional) real time battles in multiplayer for i am playing with a friend at the moment and we would really appreciate the option to fight battles alongside or against each other. I´m sure it´d be an enriching new dimension for multiplayer matches with friends. Keep up the good work! 🙂
  2. To be honest i think both of you are right in their own perspective. I would appreciate the option to play manual battles with a friend too, because it adds a whole new coop or even versus aspect to a multiplayer campaign. I know this from Shogun 2 Total War (haven´t played the following titles). There you can have an only 2 player campaign, so that you can share the same army in coop by gifting some units or fight each other with the opposing armies (either your own factions army or that of an AI faction). I´d really love to see something like this in Knights of Honor II so i agree completely with you Solstice. However this would only work properly with people you know and with which you can communicate AND in small lobbies. As Lighthope says this option would lead to some players being bored by having to watch or exploiting this mechanic by throwing a match for their own benefit with a big 6 player Lobby for example. So i guess this can (and should) probably be added as an option for multiplayer campaigns, so that you can play like this with friends and without that with strangers so to say.
  3. I´m glad someone adresses this issue in the forum. The real time battles are the most critical part of this game with the rest being quite refreshing and innovative until now. What i find really annoying is, that you can´t charge down archers with cavalry properly. Maybe i´m doing something wrong but i always see my cav chasing archers across the whole map, without really damaging them. If i give up then, they just shoot me in the back again and again. While chasing i also noticed, that the whole cavalry frontline focusses on only one member of the squad getting forced in close combat, fighting him for 5 seconds, and then chasing the whole squad again, picking the next one. With this going on it takes way too much time to kill a running archer squad and to be honest it´s not how cav should chase a potential one hit kill unit so to say. I really hope for this to get balanced better, because this issue ruins whole battles, ´cause you can´t kill ranged units fast, while they are really dangerous on the opposite. P.S. and in case im just doing something wrong i´m of course thankful for advice
