  1. Hello @BlackBurn - the Trade Center logic is pretty complex and hard to explain in layman's terms: but in general there should be no hindrance to island trade centres (I think there is even a buff for them, which is visible in the early stages of a campaign). As an example - this is an island trade centre (in Sardinia) which was not that strong but it happened to be the first one in this MP campaign. I think there is some merit to your claims and I will investigate it further - but in general, chance also plays a role and I do not seem to notice a negative correlation between coastal towns being trade centers: One further note when sending save files - please attach the whole zipped folder of the campaign as it is easier to test that way - another way you can provide save files is by using the F7 report tool while playing the campaign you want to report. This creates a save folder in the ZIP and you do not have to individually search for the save file. (gave you further instructions on how to use the F7 report tool in your previous post) Thank you for the report!
  2. Hello @BlackBurn - I think another player also encountered a similar issue -> we'll look into it further. Can you please send a F7 report - it will create a report folder + save file with a screenshot of the game at the time of pressing the button. Here is how the report window looks. Send me those files (the game can automatically open the Windows folder where the bug report is located - it's a zip/rar + a screenshot named after the 'Report Title' section). If you have problems finding those - here is the directory where you can find the needed files 'C:\Users\YourPCname\AppData\LocalLow\BlackSeaGames\Sovereign\Saves\BugReports' where YourPCname is the name of your PC Thank you!
  3. Hello @shai - we'll need more info to be able to investigate the issue further. Did this issue happen on the initial loading screen that transitions to the main menu (whenever the game's/ THQNO logo + the loading bar appear) Can you also please send me these files: 1) Player.log + Player-prev.log after a crash occurred (do not restart the .exe before sending them as it will invalidate the needed data) 2) DxDiag.txt Thank you!
  4. Hello @TheShinyOrange - we'll need more info to be able to investigate the issue further. Can you please send me these files: 1) Player.log + Player-prev.log after a crash occurred (do not restart the .exe before sending them as it will invalidate the needed data) 2) DxDiag.txt Thank you!
  5. Hello @6A119 - it appears to be a problem with the VRAM for some reason. What kind of graphics options do you use to recreate the issue?
  6. Hello, @DanB007 @arun - if you are still encountering the same type of issue can you please provide a DxDiag.txt + Player.log + Player-prev.log - this will help immensely with investigating the matter. Please let me know if you need any info on how to provide me with those files. Thank you!
  7. Hello @DoVlaLegend This is the expected result - the building cost reduction only affects the buildings themselves and does not affect the upgrades in the buildings. Thank you for reporting and hopefully this info will help you!
  8. Hello @Hennawi, We are investigating this issue, but the game does not officially support Parallels on a Mac. Parallels is a virtualization software and while it does a good job emulating a x64 system, there are still certain differences that can cause problems.
  9. Hello @J2A again! 1) For the first point - the QA will investigate the aging of the kings in MP (make sure that the Ageing speed is either Normal or Slow as Fast Aging speed will increase the speed of aging and subsequently the speed of dying - about the double kings -> I think it's already being handled by the team and should not be an issue in the future 2) For the second point - do you mean using the create from save? which will prompt: If so please make a F7 report (pressing the F7 button and filling the form, I'll give further instructions below) from all players and send them to me on this post. Instructions for the F7 report - can be used for all bugs - it includes saves and .logs that we may need to investigate issues in SP and MP (if you encounter something in MP its best to have all players to make a F7 report if possible and send them) - For MP (if SP - skip this step) Add the 'thqno_logs.json' in - For SP and MP - Whenever a bad connection happens in-game, press 'F7' (if MP: all players - clients + host) - Make sure the 'Open after create' option is ticket/active: 1) - If the folder does not open fast (after 5-10 sec.) , you can search for the Bug Report in here: 2) 'C:\Users\YourPCname\AppData\LocalLow\BlackSeaGames\Sovereign\Saves\BugReports' where YourPCname is the name of your PC - Collect all the bug reports (if MP, if SP - just send the one after experiencing a bug) in the lobby/ campaign after unsuccessful connection and attach them in the Redmine Ticket or send them to me here 3) For the third point: - I think this is the intended behaviour - you have 5 max autosave slots (should be around every 15-20 min) - they actually override each other so even if they are 5, you should still have a most recent one that has replaced the first/oldest one - please give me a heads up if this is not the case Thank you again!
  10. Hello @J2A - we'll forward these concerns to the programmers and will investigate the issues further internally Thank you!
  11. Hello, @Peasant opinion - we'll investigate the issue internally -> if any other info/ data is needed, I'll let you know Thank you for the report!
  12. Thank you @Soul--Reaver for the reply and additional info - I've forwarded the issue to the devs to look into!
  13. Hello @Soul--Reaver, we'll investigate the issue internally. 1) Can you make sure to add the Player.log (you've provided the Player-prev.log) 2) Is the .dmp from the Crash folder (located in 'C:\Users\YourPCname\AppData\Local\Temp\BlackSeaGames\Sovereign\Crashes') Thank you!
  14. Hello, I have relayed the info to the team. Thank you!
  15. Thank you @Starkiller1896! -> will relay the info to the programmers. Hopefully there is some useful data to fix the issue. Can you check if there is a Crash folder in 'C:\Users\YourPCname\AppData\Local\Temp\BlackSeaGames\Sovereign\Crashes' where YourPCname is the name of your PC -> the logs say properly that this is a Crash this time
  16. @world_ruler19 @Starkiller1896 - Hello again to both of you! 1) Can you try and rename your 'crashpad_handler.exe' in your steam library (.....\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Knights of Honor II) to for example 'whatever.exe' (you can revert it to what it was if the 'fix' does not work): the idea here is to get the Unity crash collection to work. Once you've renamed the file - please run the game's .exe and see if the crash reproduces. 2) Does this issue still reproduce? - If so can you please replicate the crash and send the Player.log + Player-prev.log (both are located in C:\Users\YourPCname\AppData\LocalLow\BlackSeaGames\Sovereign where YourPCname is your PC's name): do not start the .exe after that as that would not provide a usable file + a new DxDiag.txt 3) Can you check if there is a Crash folder in 'C:\Users\YourPCname\AppData\Local\Temp\BlackSeaGames\Sovereign\Crashes' where YourPCname is the name of your PC Thank you!
  17. Thank you for the info and files - programmers will look into them further!
  18. @Starkiller1896 Hello again! 1) Do you have any mods in your Mod game's directory? If so - try and remove them (move to another folder for example) and let us know if that changed the behaviour. 2) Do you notice a particular place / time the game crashes: - i.e. on initial loading screen (the 3rd picture you've provided) - on loading screen transition from the Kingdom selection phase to WV - While in WV - While transitioning from WV to BV (again loading screen) - While in BV etc. (there are different cases where people have shared that their game crashes and it is due to a Memory spike while loading for example - please monitor your RAM usage via Task Manager and send some screenshots if you see something irregular) 3) Can you try and stop discord / any other program that might be interfering with the game before starting the .exe (I know your PC is pretty beefy but just to isolate the problem at hand) and let us know if the behaviour changed? 4) If that does not help - can you try playing with the game's minimum graphics (again to exclude any problems from there)? 5) Another thing - can you try and change your 'thqnocfg.dat' to the one I've provided here (please make a copy of that original file and move it somewhere safe - if this 'fix' does not work you can revert to the original one). This file is located in your game's steam directory 'steamapps\common\Knights of Honor II\Sovereign_Data\StreamingAssets\THQNO' - again if that seems to stop the crashes, let me know. Thank you! thqnocfg.dat
  19. Thank you for the new logs and DxDiag - I will forward these to the programmers to look into!
  20. @Starkiller1896 We looked trough the DxDiag and saw that you use the 528.49 Nvidia driver (came out 08/02/23 which coincides with the reports from other KoH players with similar issues like you). There are some Nvidia forums reports of other users of the same Nvidia drivers saying that they have similar problems on other games (not only KoH). 1) Have you noticed random crashes on other games you play with this driver? 2) Can you try and update your Nvidia driver to the newest one + restart your PC and see if the same behaviour continues 3) Can you provide us again with the DxDiag.txt / Player.log + Player-prev.log if the game crashes after installing the new Nvidia driver and restarting your PC - remember to not start the .exe after a 'crash' as this will renew the Player.log with new data Thank you!
  21. @Reiddy101 This was caused by the game not properly applying mod changes (disabling/enabling mods) - should be fixed 1) Do you still encounter the same issue? 2) Do you remember modding the game just before this issue happened?
  22. Hello @bishop - Can you press 'F7' whenever you see the problematic start panel (this makes a report that will help us investigate the issue further) - the location of the files you need to attach is 'C:\Users\YOURpcNAME\AppData\LocalLow\BlackSeaGames\Sovereign\Saves\BugReports' where YOURpcNAME is the name of your PC (I've highlighted it in green in the screenshot below) The files that the F7 report will create is a screenshot and a .zip file containing .logs and other useful data (as noted in the picture above) Thank you
